Course Description

This presentation will focus on the history of the development of EMDR therapy, the EMDR Institute and Trauma Recovery, EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Programs (Trauma Recovery/HAP). Most importantly, the dedication and support of Trauma Recovery/HAP volunteers, board members, donors, office and training staff will be emphasized. Trauma Recovery/HAP’s past and present accomplishments and contributions to the world community, the future goals and challenges for EMDR therapy and the EMDR community will be discussed.

Meet the instructor

Robbie Dunton, MS, MA 

Robbie Dunton, MS, MA, is the Executive Director of the EMDR Institute of Francine Shapiro. She has been a business partner of Dr Francine Shapiro since 1990 and co-owner and Administrative Director of the EMDR Institute since its inception.

In 1995, Robbie helped establish and has served as the Treasurer of the Trauma Recovery/HAP Board. Prior to working with Dr Shapiro and the EMDR Institute, she was the Associate Director of the Developmental Learning Center in San Jose, California. In addition, she had an educational consulting private practice, working with adults, children and adolescents with ADD, ADHD and a wide variety of learning related issues.  She taught child development and nutrition courses for the local community college and other organizations.

How to obtain your credits/certificates

Certificates are awarded online after completion of the workshop. To receive your EMDRIA credits complete the entire course and complete the post-test, then print your certificate. For CE credits, participants print their own certificate after registering at CE-Classes.com, entering a keycode, and completing an evaluation form. Click here to know more.
