About

Course Description

Up to 11% of the population experiences dissociation, with up to 1/3 of people in therapy and community mental health presenting with these symptoms. Research further shows that dissociation assessment is inadequate in both individual settings and group trauma responses. Our field could improve outcomes with a more robust dissociation screening for group and individual therapy. This training provides clinicians with specific skills for more efficient and effective assessment of dissociation.

*Content Warning: This presentation briefly discusses traumatic events as relevant to the course content which may be upsetting to readers with personal experiences of trauma. Please proceed with caution.
